Adalyn R. Smith

CUBA CITY, Wis. - Adalyn Rose “Ady” Smith, 4-month-old daughter of Jason L. and Michelle (Zenz) Smith, of Chicago, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago.

Private services for family and close friends were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 11893 Kennedy Road, Dubuque. Burial was in Mount Oliver Cemetery, Key West, Iowa.

Ady was born on Sept. 10, 2009, in Chicago.

She is survived by her parents, Jason L. and Michelle (Zenz) Smith; the family dog, Cheddar; paternal grandparents, Christopher and Rebecca (Williamson) Smith, of Centerville, Texas; and maternal grandparents, Joe and Mary (Udelhoven) Zenz, of Cuba City; paternal great-grandparents, Mary Hartling, of Amherst, Ohio, and George Williamson, of North Olmsted, Ohio; and many aunts, uncles and cousins,

Ady was a very happy child who was loved by all.

A donation account has been set up at Wells Fargo to help the family pay for medical and funeral costs.
