Buffalo Police Report

Lance Pavelka Lance Pavelka Officer Hutchison assisted by Officer Haynie to Center Street for suspicious activity. Officer received call regarding possible crash at the intersection of Blain and Center Street. Upon arrival, officer located a U-Haul moving vehicle parked next to an apartment. Driver stated that he had run over a piece of metal and it had made a loud noise. Officer noticed that vehicle had left large ruts in the yard of apartment so driver made contact with assistant manager of apartments to make arrangements to repair the damage.

Officer Hutchison to Avant Street for verbal disturbance. Upon arrival, officer made contact with two subjects regarding the disturbance. After interviewing both parties, it was determined that no physical assault had occurred and one subject agreed to leave the premises to allow the situation to diffuse. Subject and her 2 children were given a ride to local motel by a friend.

Officer Hutchison to Harriman Park Road for suspicious vehicle. Officer made contact with vehicle driver and advised him that park was closed. Driver vacated the park. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison assisted by Sgt Ferrand to Webb Street for animal complaint. Upon arrival, officer met with resident who observed three pit bull canines attacking her dachshund in her backyard. She had secured two of the canines in a pen in her yard but the third had vacated her property. She informed officer that this was not the first time the animals had been in her yard. Officer made contact with owner of the dogs who advised that four of the dogs had become unsecured from their cage at his residence. He stated that he was currently looking to remove the dogs due to his being unable to care for them properly. After being advised that dogs had injured Complaint’s dog, he advised he would assist in payment for medical treatment. Owner went to Complaint’s house to pickup his animals and received two citations for Dog at Large. Complaint took her dog to animal hospital for treatment and Buffalo ACO Hahn was contacted.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for business alarm. Upon arrival, officer checked the location and found it to be secure. Cleared as info.

Officer Mouton to Oakwood for agency assist. Officer was contacted by City of Oakwood to assist on an Aggravated Robbery. Officer Mouton arrived and patrolled the area looking for suspect in area last seen. Unable to locate suspect. Officer returned to City of Buffalo.

Officer Haynie to IH 45 for false alarm. Officer assisted by Lt Jefferson arrived at location and met with a local realtor who had set off alarm while showing the residence to a prospective buyer. No police action was taken.

Chief Pavelka to Medical Drive for Criminal Mischief. Officer contacted by owner of vehicle regarding damage done to vehicle including windshield. After investigation, juvenile suspects were located and advised to make restitution. Owner refused to file charges if restitution was made.

Chief Pavelka to Gene Street for report of graffiti on residence. Upon arrival, officer located additional graffiti at surrounding locations. After further investigation, juveniles responsible were located and instructed to cleanup immediately to avoid further charges. Officer will follow up with residents to make sure cleanup is completed.
