Photo by Melissa Missildine On the heels of the devastating loss of 36-66 against Kennard on Tuesday, the Oakwood Panthers had high hopes for Friday's game against Douglas. They started out with a lead of 16-8 in the first quarter. The Panthers seemed to be just skating through this game. That was not the case. The Indians fought back gaining 15 points to Oakwood's 7 in the second quarter. Three pointers was the name of their game. The teams seemed pretty evenly matched with a tied score of 23-

23 at the half. Oakwood scored 14 to Douglas' 13 points in the third quarter making the score 37-34. The break in the game came about midway through the fourth quarter. Frustrations were running rampant and so were the fouls. With the Indians picking off foul shots one right after the other, they picked up 16 points to OHS' 8. The end score was 45-52. The Indians rolled up that win and took it back to Kennard.
