Frank S. Roliard

Funeral services for Frank S. Roliard, age 85, of Humble, Texas were held on Thursday, 11 AM, at the Walters Funeral Home Chapel in Centerville. Rev. Dean Easterling, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church in Centerville officiated and burial was in the Centerville Cemetery.

Frank Roliard was born on August 26, 1924 in Navasota, Texas and lived most of his life in Houston where he owned and operated a service station. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Houston. Frank Roliard enjoyed fishing and also enjoyed and was a very accomplished “42” player. He especially loved playing with Robert Bain.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Roliard; a daughter, Annette Galan and four brothers, Lewis Roliard, Andrew “Sonny” Roliard, Stanley “Gus” Roliard and Oscar Lewis Bowie. Mr. Roliard died on January 11, 2010 in an Humble hospital.

Surviving family includes five sons and three daughters-in-law, Stanley and Gina Roliard of Humble, Larry and Brenda Roliard of Spring, Charles Toland of Centerville, Claude and Billie Toland of Houston and James Toland of Houston; two daughters, Kathy Holbrook of Bellaire and Robbie Roliard of Houston; three sisters, Diane Flynt of Humble, Christine Bowie and Jean Hiles and seven grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Wayne Bell, Stan Roliard, Patrick Garza, Matthew Roliard, Kyle Roliard and Kevin Roliard.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville was in charge of arrangements.
