OJH Lady Panthers lose to Murchison

Katy Glick battles for a rebound in 8th grade Lady Bison action with New Waverly. Van’Go’photo The Oakwood Jr. High Lady Panthers traveled to Murchison this week. Unfortunately, they did not bring home the win. The OJH girls did well in the first half, really holding their own. It seemed as though they had just run out of steam by the second half. Murchison edged them out with a final score of 28-32.

Candace Hudson brought her A-game to Murchison. She not only scored most of the points for the Lady Panthers but she got quite a few steals as well. Taylor Norris did a great job on defense. She really hustled out on the court throughout the whole game.

The Jr. High girls are looking forward to playing Dew at home this week.
