Buffalo Jr High boys basketball update

Come out and show your support of Coach Dennis Hartley’s youngsters at their games on Thursday afternoon, January 7 when they host Trinity, with seventh grade action beginning at 4:00 and eighth to follow.

Eighth Graders roll on

The BJHS eighth graders continue to dominate all opponents and remain undefeated this season. ONALASKA

Jones had a 14-point first quarter to set the tone for the Bison victory over Onalaska on December 7. Adams set the pace in the second quarter with 8 points, and the Bison led 35-5 by halftime. They came away with a 49-27 victory.

Jones led all scorers with 20 points and Adams followed with 14. Kyle Read added 6, Adams Simpson and Martin scored 4 each and Davis added a bucket. Buffalo hit 72% at the free-throw line.

The Bison stampede continued through Groveton with a 34-17 victory. Jones against led his team with 14 points. Adams and Martin added 6 each, Read contributed 4, Jacob Davis and Josue Roldan added a bucket apiece.

Seventh Graders defeat Onalaska

The youngest Bison team posted one in the win column on December 7, rolling over Onalaska in a one-sided victory, 37-8. Dylan St. Pe’ again led the Bison scoring with 16 points. Paul Mata contributed 9, Layne Shelton 8, and Damon Magouirk and Donte Willis each added a bucket.

The seventh graders did not have a game against Groveton, because the Indians did not bring a 7th grade team.
