JV Bison dominate Norm’gee Panthers

Austin Rayborn and Tate Hartley knocked down a couple of three-pointers in the opening moments of the Buffalo/Normangee JV game, setting the tone for the rest of the contest. Buffalo, led by Travis Cunningham's 9 first-quarter points, dominated the Panthers 22-2 after one period, 30-6 at the half, 38-14 after three and cruised on to a 48-21 victory.
The Bison spread their points out, with three men in double figures. Hartley finished with 15 points, included three treys, and had 2 steals. Cunningham finished with 11 points. Dylan Laningham added 10 points and 7 rebounds. Rayborn had 7 points, two steals and plenty of hustle. Mario Cortez pulled down six boards. Jordan Nix scored 3 poitns and had 4 rebounds. Colton Morman added a bucket.
The JV team will resume play with a district game on January 5 at Centerville. Tipoff is set for 5:30.
