Centerville Tigers extend season record to 12-3

The Centerville Tigers defeated Lovelady on December 15th but lost their district opener to New Waverly on December 18 to close out their week with a season record of 12-3.
In a non-district clash the Tigers traveled to Lovelady on December 15 and came away with a solid 61-49 victory. Clay Hardee had 13 points and 14 rebounds and Jonathan Cloud chipped in with 12 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Tigers. Michael Gwosdz dished out 4 assists. Jamal High only shot 6 times from the field but canned 5 to go with 2 free throws to end up with a solid 12 points.

On December 18th the Tigers hosted New Waverly in their first district game and came out on the short end of the score 53-80. New Waverly is one of the favorites in district and displayed a lot of talent. Michael Gwosdz had an outstanding game as he hit 4 of 5 three-pointers and had a game high 28 points to go along with 5 rebounds.
