Christmas Time is Here

December is a month for cold winter weather, icy rain, and bone chilling wind. However, December also stands as a month for family, togetherness, and love. The inhabitants of the Centerville Housing Authority hosted their annual Christmas party last Friday, December 18th, in an attempt to spread a little Christmas cheer of their own. Approximately fifty people gathered during one of the busiest times of the year in celebration of Christmas and "family."
Lights, food, and decorations filled the room to completely epitomize the Christmas atmosphere. However, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without an appearance from Santa Claus. Buffalo's very own Mac Shadix left his mark in the hearts of children and adults alike as a truly believable Santa Claus. As children and their parents churned through the line to take pictures with jolly old St. Mac, the holiday was entirely realized in the minds of everyone who attended.
So, when you are scraping the ice off your windshield or snuggling up by the fire for warmth, remember that December isn't always a bad thing and if you try to spread a little Christmas cheer, you might just find that elusive Christmas miracle.
