BHS athletes earn Academic All State honors

Congratulations to BHS seniors Brooke Trahan, Kaila Grissett and Meredith Shaw, named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association 2009 Academic All State Volleyball Team. Van’Go’photo The Texas Girls Coaches Association has released the 2009 Academic All State Volleyball Teams. Buffalo was fortunate to have three players make the squad: Kaila Grissett, Meredith Shaw and Brooke Trahan. To be eligi- ble for consideration, players have to be senior members of the varsity squad, be of good character and have a 94.0 cumulative GPA.

Brooke is the daughter of Steve and Janis Trahan. Kaila’s parents are Michelle and Gerald Grissett, and Meredith is the daughter of Ron and Lori Shaw. Congratulations to these young adies who have been leaders both on the court and in the classroom.
