Flo Water Directors approve equipment garage

The Flo Water Board of Directors voted to install a 50’ X 24’ garage at the Corporation offices in Flo to shelter their backhoe and truck. The vote came at the regular meeting of Flo Water at Celebration Church on Thursday night, December 10th.

A request for easing the double hook-up rule by customer Linda Sims was tabled pending a review of the regulations.

The directors were told that their application for a $1 Million dollar loan from Community National Bank was moving along and was expected to clear the USDA review process soon.

Plans for a new water well in Weedon are moving ahead and drilling will hopefully begin sometime in Janurary.

Directors briefly discussed the current rate structure during the part of the Manager’s report that displayed the rates. It was again pointed out that the heaviest users paid less per gallon than the very lightest users. It was mentioned that this is not a situation that lends itself to conservation of resources.
