No one really believes “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” Do they?

On Wednesday, December 9, the children of the First Baptist Church of Buffalo presented a thoughtful and delightful play called “All I want for Christmas”. The story revolves around a 10-year-old girl named Lindsey who is self-centered and believes she should get whatever she wants, no matter the expense.

When Lindsey falls asleep in a toy department the toys come to life and together they re-enact the night of Christ’s birthday revealing the true meaning of Christmas.

Fifteen children participated in the musical presentation, ranging in age from 4 to 13, along with several adult actors. Practice began in September and there were times the workers thought “this will never come together”. But it did and was well received by the family members and friends who attended.
