We have two donation boxes at THM. One, promoted by BHS's Student Council, is for Toys. Last week customer gave a wad money and charged us with filling the box for the kids. The other box is a Coat Drive, sponsored by BHS and The Lord's Pantry. The same customer filled it to over flowing... several times. Since then others have given. I've said it before; we live in a generous community. More ... The American Legion Post 335 had their Christmas dinner on December 5th, with Leo Renaud cooking some of the juiciest and best tasting turkey around. Along with the turkey we had loads of good homemade side dishes and plenty of good company. Judge Ryder and his wife, Diane were guests with Judge Ryder reading a letter to the Army News thanking our troops for their service. More ... Christmas is the time for family and friends; the time to count our blessings and stop to reflect on what is truly important to our lives. With that statement in mind I want to introduce you to one of my greatest blessings; my sister and best friend, all wrapped up in one beautiful package. More ... |
