Christmas parade draws children of all ages The Christmas season officially arrived in Buffalo on Thursday afternoon as Santa, Mrs. Claus and several trailer-loads of elves* paraded through town and set up a receiving line at Davis Country Store. Eager youngsters and patient parents dutifully lined up for each child's opportunity to sit on Santa's lap, and have their picture taken. Mrs. Claus had a treat for each child, to make it worth the wait, and there were cookies for all and Christmas music, compliments of the BHS band. * (Many thanks to Mac Shadix of the Buffalo Press, Reitha Hullum of ABC Printing, and the Bison Belles, junior high and high school cheerleaders!) The coming weeks will be filled with Christmas cheer. Watch the Community Calendar in this newspaper for dates and times of holidays events your family can enjoy.
