Leon County Tea Party Patriots meeting in Centerville Monday, December 7 is the date for the next meeting of the Leon County Tea Party Patriots. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church, located at 409 W. St. Mary's (Hwy. 7) in Centerville. The informative, monthly meetings are being conducted in different locations all over Leon County, in an effort to encourage all residents to get involved and learn about the decisions made by government officials that have a tremendous impact on their daily lives. Plans are now being made for both the Madison and Leon County Tea Party groups to meet together in January of 2010 at the Kimbro Center in Madisonville. Candidates that have signed up to run for various positions in the March primary will be invited to speak. The Leon County Tea Party Patriots is a countywide, non-partisan, non-profit political group. Its mission is to organize, inform and inspire fellow Leon County residents to unite with a goal of making a difference in public policy in ways consistent with the core values upon which this nation was founded. LCTP will exercise, through all legal means available, to influence state and federal candidates and politicians to effect legislation consistent with our core values.
