Leon Lady Cougars nab the major honors in District 20-AA

LHS’ Chelby Stanford, District 20AA Setter of the Year. The district champion Lady Cougars garnered many of the awards as the District 20AA All-District teams were chosen, including two superlatives: Chelby Stanford was named Setter of the Year and Newcomer of the Year went to Amy Holt.

Making the First Team All-District were: Allison Carrigan, Kori Charlton, Elissa Downey and Sharon Coulter. 2nd Team All-District selections were Jentry Clary, Kendle Charlton and Megan Williamson, and an Honorable Mention went to Avery Robinson.

These Lady Cougars also earned All Academic All-District recognition: Allison Carrigan, Kendle Charlton, Kori Charlton, Jentry Clary, Sharon Coulter, Elissa Downey, Avery Robinson and Megan Williamson
