Lt Jefferson to IH 45 for disabled 18 wheeler. Officer met with driver who was on the right shoulder with safety cones out. Advised that wrecker was on the way. Call cleared as motorist assist.
Lt Jefferson to Michael Avenue for animal call. Apartment manager advised officer that a skunk was in the live animal trap that was placed there by ACO Hahn. Officer dispatched the skunk and manager disposed of it. Call cleared as animal complaint.
Officer Hutchison to Legalley Street for verbal disturbance. Officer arrived to find subject beating on door of residence and disturbing the tenant. Subject continued to cause disturbance after officer arrived on scene. Subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Officer Hutchison to Bess Street for juvenile complaint. Upon arrival, officer spoke with Reportee regarding juvenile throwing rocks and blocking children from entering the playground. Juvenile was located and taken to residence and released to parent. Juvenile was advised to not return to the property due to previous complaints.
Officer Hutchison to Michael Avenue for possible subjects smoking marijuana. Upon arrival, officer found door to the apartment open. Officer was met by the tenant at the door and noticed a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the apartment. Officer met with the tenant and three other subjects in the apartment. After interviewing all, it was determined that they had been drinking and that they had consumed all of the marijuana prior to officer’s arrival. One of the subjects was ordered to take the other two back to his place and to stay the remainder of the evening. Tenant was advised the same. No citations were issued nor charges filed. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for suspicious vehicle at business. Officer located vehicle that had stopped so driver could use cell phone. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for 911 hang up at elementary school. Upon arrival, no vehicles were present, building was secure and officer couldn’t locate anyone. Info forwarded to dispatch. Call cleared.
Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for audible alarm. Upon arrival, officer located a door on the west side of business establishment was unsecure. Officer cleared the building finding it secure. LCSO and the alarm company attempted to call the key holder but no contact made. LCSO documented that the door was left unsecured.
Cpl Mata to Commerce Street for vehicle crash. Crash report filed.
Sgt Ferrand to IH 45 for reckless and speeding driver. Officer received report regarding a vehicle driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed on interstate. Officer intercepted speeding vehicle and stopped it. Subject was issued citation for speeding and advised to slow down.
Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for subject consuming alcohol on business premises. Upon arrival, officer met with business employee regarding subject that had been kicked off the bus for consuming alcohol and that appeared not to understand that he could not remain on premises while waiting for the next bus. Officer made contact with the subject and explained the situation regarding the alcoholic beverage and subject left business until the next bus was due to arrive. No further action requested by the employee.
Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for possible intoxicated driver. Officer located vehicle and observed it failing to maintain lane. Officer stopped vehicle and was advised by driver that she was distracted. Driver was issued two warnings and one citation for Unrestrained Child under 4 years of age.
Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for possible bad checks. Officer made contact with Assistant Manager of Sonic regarding two checks that were accepted at the business that she believed were suspicious. Officer advised that nothing could be done until the checks were processed through the bank. Cleared as info.
Sgt Ferrand to IH 45 for disabled vehicle. Officer observed a disabled vehicle on IH 45. Upon checking, found it had a flat and that occupants were waiting on a wrecker. Officer remained on scene until vehicle was loaded and removed from the freeway.
Sgt Ferrand to First Street for theft. Officer contacted at Buffalo PD regarding a stolen utility trailer at their residence. Remains under investigation.
Officer Mouton & Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for report of reckless driver. Officers located the vehicle and followed. Vehicle was driving the posted speed limit and not driving recklessly. Call cleared as unfounded.
Officer Mouton & Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for disturbance at business. Upon arrival, officers met with cashier regarding subject that had become angry and attempted to leave after told that the credit card used to pay for fuel had not covered the entire cost. Owner did not want to file charges and only wanted the balance remaining on the bill paid. Subject paid the bill and left without incident.
Officer Mouton to Webb Street for loud music. Upon arrival, officer was unable to locate. Dispatch relayed that the music had stopped per the original caller. Call cleared.
Sgt Ferrand to Center Street for loud music. Upon arrival, officer was unable to locate. Call cleared.
Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for possible overdose. Upon arrival, officer made contact with victim who was traveling on the bus. Victim appeared to be heavily medicated. Legacy EMS arrived and transported victim to the ER in Fairfield for further medical attention.
Officer Mouton to Gene Street for disturbance. Upon arrival, officer met with Complainant who said she had been struck on the arm by subject. Officer located subject in question regarding the assault and was advised that he was attempting to retrieve his vehicle when the parent of person to whom he had loaned the vehicle to struck him with a hammer. After questioning both parties involved, keys were retrieved so that subject could leave. Subject did not want to file charges for the assault. Call cleared.
