      The Holiday Season is upon us; a time for family, feasts and...shopping? The day this paper hits the stands there will be only 31 shopping days before Christmas. Not being a 'shopper' myself, I find it entertaining that they have names for specific spending days. This week we have Black Friday and next Monday is Cyber Monday. Apparently, Black Friday is a sport, and a contact sport at that.

      Lt Jefferson to IH 45 for disabled 18 wheeler. Officer met with driver who was on the right shoulder with safety cones out. Advised that wrecker was on the way. Call cleared as motorist assist.
