She had the most well rounded night and the most assists. Christina Hudson had 13 points and 8 rebounds. As one of the youngest on the team, Hudson is showing real potential. Angela Johnson led rebounders with 12 and contributed 6 points, and 4 assists. Lisa Stevens also picked up a couple of points for the Lady Panthers. The Lady Panthers Head Basketball Coach Ronnie Dunn is new to OHS this year. What did he think about the first game? "We made a lot of mistakes, and we didn't shoot the ball real well, however we got the job done. There are a lot of things we need to improve on, but considering the fact that we only had 7 days of practice I am very proud of the way the girls played. It is always good to start the season off with a win." The Lady Panthers are looking forward to a real cat fight in Trinity tonight against the Lady Tigers. |
