Ladies results

November 12 - A mistake was made on last week's news for the 9-Hole ladies. Birdies - were made by Betty Von Bieberstein and Angela Peloquin. Pars - Betty Von Bieberstein, Marcia Waller, Paula Chicken; and Dorothy Green

The 18-hole WGA Ladies game of the day was "ACES". 15 players participated. Debbie Miller won ACES. She had a great round of golf, netting 73! First place went to Shirley Schiamara, 2nd place went to Helen Prejean. There was a 3-way tie for 3rd place, and after a scorecard playoff, 3rd went to Leonor Holland, 4th place went to Lorraine Guilford, and 5th went to Carolyn Tibbits. Low Putts for the day - Ruth Wallace with 31 putts. Chip-ins: Linda Hambrick on #18. Closest to the pin - Marcia Rector on #7 and #10, Shirley Schiamara on #15. Thursday, the 18-hole ladies will play "ACE of the YEAR" for those who qualify, and Non-Ace tournament for all others.

The 9-hole WGA Ladies game of the day was "3 Clubs and a putter". 7 players participated. Betty Von Bieberstein won 1st place with a 35. Second place went to Dorothy Green with 39; and third went to JoAnn Pool 39 (Scorecard playoff). Low Putt for the day went to Anna Rigsby with 17 putts. Next week the game of the day will be "ACE of the YEAR" and Non-Ace Tournament for those who do not qualify. Everyone is invited to come out and play.

GENERAL Meeting - Next Thursday at 8:30am. Very important meeting and we hope all members will attend. WGA will have their End of the Year Luncheon on December 3. Come to the meeting next Thursday for more details.

Men’s results

The format for the men’s game is Individual - Flighted. The winners in the First Flight were: First Place (66) - Joe Oden; Second (68) - Bob Tibbits; Third (71) - Randy Schiamara; Fourth (73) - Jerry Beamon. In the Second Flight: First (64) - Jim Ramsey, Second (68) - Bennie Yohe, Third (69) - Eric Wood, and Fourth (71) - Jim Miller. Taking honors in the he Third Flight were: First (67) - Leroy Carey; Second (68) - Bill Hunter, Third (69) - Mark Perkins, Fourth (71) - Bill Fathke.

Closest-to-Pin on Par Threes went to: #3 - Jerry Johnson, #7 - Joe Oden, #10 - Mark Perkins, and #15 - Jim Miller.
