Cougars fall to Garrison in playoffs

Sherry’s Shots The Leon Cougars traveled to Athens to tangle with Garrison on November 13th and hung tough for one half and trailed 35-28 at halftime. The Cougars added 2 more touchdowns in the second half but couldn’t contain the running game of Garrison as Garrison added 27 points to pull out a 62-40 victory. Coach Keith Sitton’s Cougars showed remarkable improvement over the previous year and look forward to a repeat of being in the playoffs again next year.
