Jimmy F. Davis

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy F. Davis, age 72, will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009, at 11:00a.m. at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Bro. Tony Roberts, Mr. Davis’ son-in-law, will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Sardis Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday with the family present from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at College Station Medical Center. He was born and raised in Houston and moved to Leon County in 1991. Mr. Davis loved to fish and raise cattle. He also enjoyed tinkering with antique cars and attending car shows. He is survived by his wife, Reba Davis of Jewett; three daughters, Jeri Roberts & husband Tony of Holly Springs, Mississippi, Tracy Davis, and Eleshia Davis both of Houston; one son, Dennis (Bubba) Graves & wife Deborah of Magnolia; five grandchildren, Mandy, Jessica, David, James, and Madison; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Pike of Tomball; other relatives and friends.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Mary Davis.
