The Jewett Neighbor Hood Watch group will be meeting this Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 6:00pm, at the Jewett City Hall everyone is invited to attend. There will also be a bake sale held on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Ladies will be set up north of the Flea Market. Look for them and help support the Jewett Neighborhood Watch Program. More ... The Wright’s come to Buffalo by way of Mexia, Texas, where Robin was Pulpit Minister at Northcrest Church of Christ since 1996. They have been here before but Sammy Glass’s Mother and his sister and her family are the Telestials and have come here often. Next Sunday there will be an annual meeting of the ministerial alliance for the evening service. There will be finger food after the service. More ... The Oakwood Cub Scouts spent the month of October studying animals you might see on a jungle safari. Each Scout studied a different animal and made a presentation during the monthly pack meeting.
