Teresa Kay Greene

Graveside funeral services for Teresa Kay (Ammons) Greene, age 45, of Palestine were held 12 noon Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Union Cemetery near Teague in Freestone County, Texas. Carol Walters officiated at the services. Walters Buffalo Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation was held at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo on Friday, 11 AM until 4 PM and on Saturday morning from 9 AM until 11:30 AM.

Teresa Greene was born December 30, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas. Her parents were Maxwell Eugene “Gene” Ammons and Shirley June (Steele) Ammons. She lived in Buffalo for most of her life and the past five years she lived in Palestine. She was a Christian and Pentecostal by faith. Teresa loved to work puzzles of any kind and was good at arranging flowers. She also made ceramics. She was a good mother and was close to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ruel Greene. Teresa passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Palestine.

Teresa is survived by her son, Ryan Greene of Palestine, Texas; her brother, Dale Ammons and wife, Cathy of Palestine, Texas and her two sisters, Renee McKenzie and husband, Steve of Huntsville, Arkansas, and Katrina Mc- Clain and husband, Matt of Decatur, Texas.

The pallbearers were Mathew McClain, Andy Davidson, Bobby Bonner, Sam Mallett, Larry Elkins, and Maxwell Ammons.
