Oakwood ISD schools held Open House on Thursday night. There was a good turn out. Parents and students met in the cafeteria for a welcoming speech made by Superintendent Richard Scoggin. Scoggin reminded parents that early voting for the bond election was going on and that the poll box would be open until 8:00 for their convenience. More ... Last week my Leon County Cook was a woman named Sharon McRoberts. She is a precious lady who does hours of work for the Lone Star Community Center of which I am affiliated.
