November Photo Contest and Photo Course announced

The Buffalo Press is holding another photo contest for our readers titled, “The Colors of Fall.” Deadline for submissions is November 20. Photographs should be submitted as JPEGs of about 500 kb, to buffalopress@gmail. com with a subject line of “Fall photo contest.” Winners will be published in the Buffalo Press, and in Leon County Today, the online news source for Leon County.

Buffalo Press Publisher Mac Shadix will also be hosting a “Conversation about digital photography—Basics” at The Horses Mouth at six p.m. November 12. Everyone interested in photography is invited to attend the free meeting. This first meeting will be about basics: camera choices, computers and editing software that can enhance the experience. No experience whatsoever will be needed to participate in this first ‘conversation.’
