Buffalo Police Report Lt Jefferson & Chief Pavelka to Jewett for agency assist with armed robbery at check cashing facility. Officers secured scene and assisted LCSO and Jewett Chief Navarro with investigation. Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for one vehicle crash. Crash report filed. Sgt Ferrand & Cpl Mata to Bess Street for verbal disturbance. Officers met with the manager of apartments regarding disturbance at one of the units. Officers located subjects. Upon interview, it was determined that the argument had been resolved before officers arrived. Manager requested a Criminal Trespass be issued to subject that was not on the lease. Cleared as info and Criminal Trespass warning was issued. Sgt Ferrand to Avant Street for telephone complaint. Officer met with Reportee regarding subject continually calling her and her family. Reportee did not want to file charges. Cleared as info. Sgt Ferrand & Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for suspicious person. Officers located subject described. Subject had been at gas station washing windows but was on his way to a friend’s house. Cleared as info. Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for suspicious person at restaurant. Officer met with subject regarding the purchase of food. Management requested that subject pay for beverage he had not purchased. Subject paid and remained at scene until the next bus arrived. No other police action was taken. Chief Pavelka to Blain Street for possible disturbance. Chief spoke with tenant who said she was fine and there was no disturbance. Notified LCSO that everything appeared ok. Call cleared. Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for alarm. Officer checked business and found it to be secure. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison to Bridget Avenue for loud music. Unable to locate. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison to Gene Street for unwanted person. Officer met with Reportee regarding unwanted person on apartment property. Suspect was gone upon arrival but later located and advised to not re-enter the property. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison to Avant Street for possible public intoxication. Officer met with Reportee regarding person in the home that was intoxicated and asked to leave. After testing, found subject was not intoxicated but had consumed several alcoholic beverages and they had been arguing. Subject agreed to sleep outside to resolve matter. After clearing call, officer received call to return. Upon arrival, advised that their arguing was personal and not a police matter. No assault or threats of assault had occurred. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison to Highway 79 West for agency assist on an alarm call. Officer received call from LCSO Deputy Dorman to secure scene at RSC Rental due to alarm call. Deputy was not in immediate area. Upon arrival, officer did not see any signs of entry on the perimeter. Deputy Dorman arrived and contacted the key holder. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison assisted by Lt Jefferson and Jewett Chief Navarro to CR 270 for arrest on an outstanding felony warrant. Subject was located, taken into custody and transported to LCSO jail without incident. Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for reckless driving. Officer located vehicle and observed the subject turn into the service station from the wrong lane. After the vehicle came to a stop at the fuel pump, officer approached the driver. Occupant of vehicle denied that driver was driving recklessly. Because LCSO dispatch could not contact initial caller, officer issued warning for the traffic violation he had observed while he was behind the vehicle. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison & Chief Pavelka to Bess Street for criminal mischief. Upon arrival, officer met with Reportee regarding a juvenile damaging her windshield with a rock. Officer located parent of juvenile reported to have damaged the windshield. Parent denied it was juvenile, but after interviewing, the juvenile confessed. Parent advised they would pay for the damaged windshield. Cleared as info. Officer Hutchison to Legalley Street for telephone harassment. Officer met with Reportee regarding threatening messages on cell phone. Officer contacted subject whose phone the messages had come from and advised subject to stop. Cleared as info. Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for verbal disturbance. Officer met with Reportee regarding civil matter. Officer remained on scene until an agreement could be reached between parties and conflict had ended. Cleared as info. Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for possible stolen wallet on Greyhound bus. Upon arrival, met with Reportee regarding wallet. Search of trash cans on bus resulted in finding the wallet with all contents except currency. Call cleared as wallet located. Sgt Ferrand to Houck Street for loose dogs. Officer located one dog and resecured it at its residence per a neighbor. Unable to locate second dog. Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for reckless driver. Unable to locate vehicle. Sgt Ferrand & Officer Mouton to Main Street for unwanted person. Upon arrival, officer found subject in front yard. Officer interviewed subject then spoke with tenant who was found to be intoxicated. After a brief confrontation, subject was told to leave to avoid any further problems. Subject was picked up by relative. Cleared as info. Cpl Mata to Avant Street for information assistance. Officer met with subject regarding a legal question. Officer advised subject to contact an attorney for legal advice concerning question and to contact Buffalo PD if further assistance was needed. Cpl Mata to Price Street in Jewett to attempt to locate a stolen vehicle. Officer arrived at reported location and waited. LC Deputy Sales arrived and advised the vehicle went to another location. Officers were unable to locate vehicle in Jewett. Officer returned to service. Offense Reports Chief Pavelka to Railroad Street for assault. While on civil standby, victim stated that they had been slapped by an individual known to them. Chief Pavelka received info at PD regarding forgery. Victim reported that a person known to them had used identity without consent. |
