North Creek Baptist Church
Tom Nolen
The Fall Festival was held Saturday and was well attended. There were nearly fifty Kids and total count was over 100. None was heard to say they didn’t have a lot of fun. The hayride was loaded and all got to see the vacant land which will someday be the place for a parsonage. The Glass family will be here on November 8th at the evening service. They are connected to the telestials who have come often to bring gospel music to North Creek. A visitor from Palestine observed that North Creekers seem to be a loving bunch. She placed the description that fits like no other right where it belongs. We plead guilty of being a hugging church and hope that all recognize that fact. The food pantry is getting ready for the Thanksgiving time. There will be two Thursdays that we will be open in November that will be the first and third Thursdays. Hope that is not confusing to the clients. Each year we try to give more to the people to get ready for Thanksgiving. We have been serving between 400 and 500 persons each month. We are currently seeking more contributors to help keep the pantry solvent. If you want to help. We need more contributors to give a sum every month so we can continue to serve the needy in our area. If you are a Christian and you are not currently attending church on a regular basis, consider coming to North Creek. “ try it you’ll like it”. If you are not a Christian then the time is now for you to decide where you will spend eternity. In Heaven with Jesus, or in Hades with Satan. Think about it and come on to North Creek where someone will show you how to inherit an unlimited future. “See ya there”.
