Lady Tigers continue quest for District 21AA championship

Sherry’s Shots The Lady Tigers remain undefeated in district 21AA with a perfect 11-0 mark by defeating Corrigan and Trinity. The Tigers traveled to Corrigan on October 13th and came home a winner 25-16, 25-11, and 25-5. The junior varsity also won 25-5 and 25-16.

Stats for the Tigers against Corrigan: Jill Griffin 11 aces, 7 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks; Leanne Jones 7 kills, 4 blocks; Raimey Griffin 5 kills, 5 digs; Christy Wellman 4 kills, 3 blocks; Sarah Mutschler 11 assists, 6 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces, 2 digs; Taylor Sullivan 17 assists, 2 digs, 1 ace; Kelsey Lagrone 4 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace; Brittany Thomas 1 kill; Alexia Scarbough 2 blocks

The Tigers entertained Trinity on October 20th and won handily 25-20, 25-13, and 25-14.
