LADIES RESULTS

October 15 – The Nine Hole Gals had 7 players in "ACES" for the Month of September (rainout date). The winner and ACE for the Month is Marcia Waller shooting a 34. Betty Von Bieberstein took second with 36; Lorna Webb took 3rd with 40 (scorecard playoff). Low Putts for the day went to Betty Von Bieberstein. Marcia Waller had her PAR on #10. Next week they will play "ACES" for the month of October

The 18-Hole Hals had 14 players and the game of the day was "Low Gross - Flighted". First Flight and 1st place went to Leonor Holland shooting 86; 2nd place went to Shirley Schiamara with an 89. In the Second Flight, 1st place went to Helen Prejean with 91; 2nd place - Georgia Gibson with 99; 3rd place went to Linda Hambrick with 99. Linda lost to Georgia on scorecard playoff. Third Flight, 1st place went to Ella Bishir; 2nd place went to Ruth Wallace; and 3rd place went to Carolyn Tibbitts. Low Putts for the day went to Ella Bishir with only 29 putts. Faye Weller had a Chip-in on #2 and Lorraine Guilford had a Chip-in on #13. There were two Birdies - Marcia Rector on #10 and Debbie Miller on #10. Closest to the pin - Debbie Miller won it on #3 and #10; Linda Hambrick was closest on #7; Shirley Schiamara was closest on #15

MEN’S RESULTS

In the Two-Man Pick Your Partner, Best Ball (with ties decided by score card playoff), First Place (with score of 61) went to Leroy Carey and Wayne Brougher. Second (also 61) were Bill Fathke and Doug Sassman, third (still 61) were Sam Saxton and Les Whitworth, and fourth (62) went to David Lott and Jerry Johnson. Doug Sassman took Closest to the Pin on Par Threes honors on both #7 and #10.
