North Creek Baptist Church

By Tom Nolen

Tom Nolen Tom Nolen Brother Jim returned today as pastor after his operation to nip cancer in the bud. Most of the people who were out because of the flu were back. Next Saturday will be the Fall Festival from 4PM til PM and followed by a hayride to take place on the undeveloped land across from the church. The Glass family will be here in November early to get the month started right. The food pantry will not be open the second Thursday from the last time opened but it will be three weeks from last Thursday so that there will be two only in October and two in November. So note if you are scheduled In on the next time it will be the first Thursday in November. The Pantry served over 400 people during the month of October. If any of you have the means to do so The Pantry needs some people to regularly donate funds on a monthly basis to make up for the shortfall. The prices of the food have risen and the money no longer stretches as far as it did. So if you can give 5 or 10 or more each month it would be greatly appreciated. If any one knows a person who is retired from General Electric corporation, I would like to communicate with such a person. The plans for the rest of the year are pretty much decided and have only to be put in service. If you are a Christian and not regularly attending services at some church, try North Creek “you’ll like it.” If you are not a Christian then time is getting short and you must decide whether you want to spend it with Jesus or Satan. Seems like a “nobrainer” to me. Come by North Creek and someone will show you the way to inherit eternal life. “See ya there.”
