With back-to-back losses last week, the Lady Bison dug a hole for themselves as the first half of district play came to an end. Buffalo fell to Centerville on Tuesday, but the fatal blow came with a three-set loss to New Waverly on Friday. Centerville, the third ranked team in the state, cruised through the first half at 7-0. Anderson-Shiro sits in second place at 6-1. New Waverly stands at 5-2 with Buffalo trailing at 4-3.

Karlee Ferguson served for six points to pace the Lady Bison. Kaila Grissett served for five points, and Brooke Trahan served for three. Jordyn Briscoe added one service point.
