 Jack Thomason,Buffalo ISD Superintendent issued an email at 3:37 P.M. Thursday stating that all Buffalo ISD campuses would be closed Friday. The statement in full read as follows:

Due to the excessive amount of absences at our campuses due to flu like symptoms, all campuses will be closed tomorrow-Friday, October 9th. Custodial and maintenance staff will be here tomorrow to take preventive action to sanitize and disinfect all the buildings. School will resume at the regular scheduled times on Tuesday, October 13th. All UIL activities will continue as scheduled. This day will be made up on Friday, May 14th. I appreciate your cooperation regarding this matter.
