Leon County 4-H Members Honored

Contributed photo September 26, 2009 proved to be a remarkable day for Leon County 4-H members Ryan McCarty and Reagan Robertson. During a formal Banquet at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, Texas Ryan and Reagan were recognized for their outstanding accom- plishments in the Texas 4-H program. As they hold two of the top positions in Texas 4-H which is the largest youth organization in the state of Texas Ryan and Reagan were awarded a Leadership Award and recognized along with other youth leaders of Texas 4-H, FFA and FCCLA. These two leaders represent the over 634,000 Texas 4-Hers on the Texas 4-H Council. The event was coordinated and hosted by the State Fair of Texas in their tradition of recognizing young Texas Leaders in Agriculture.
