Freestone County Sheriff’s Report

      That Don Vail, Pastor of Caney Baptist on FM-833 had a crowd present on Sunday afternoon…..A big, white tent set up, a catered meal and plenty of Gospel entertainment by several groups. They were singing when I got there and they were singing when I left. This was the 151st Anniversary of the Church and they put on a major production to celebrate the same.

     Stars of the Milky Way Triangle The Milky Way Triangle, also called the Summer Triangle, is currently high overhead in the early evening. Formed by three of the night sky's bright stars -- Vega, Altair, and Deneb -- the triangle is easy to identify.
