North Creek Baptist Church

The time is drawing near for the annual Fall Festival. It will fall on October 24th.with time to be announced later but it will probably be in the evening. The kids can get as much fun as “trick or treating” and without worshipping the satanic forces as Halloween does. The Christian holiday is much better for the kids and they can thank God for the treats. There will be a ladies bible study in the fellowship center on October 18th and all ladies are invited to attend. It takes place at 5:00 P.M. before the evening service.
Have you noticed that there are a lot of laws being passed that restrict us from the free worship of God in our way? The constitution guarantees that that will not happen. What can you do?? First, if it is from a local entity such as city or county. You can complain to the agency directly and advise them to consult the second amendment of the constitution and it says that Congress shall not make any law that restricts the free exercise of religion. The Supreme court has determined that this means any governmental body may not restrict the religion. If it is a federal body which seeks to restrict religion, you may contact your congressman or senators and remind them. There has been a lot of that lately and the e-mail has been busy carrying that message. Keep it busy and eventually they will respond. Let them know that you expect them to obey the constitution in it’s entirety. If you are not a Christian, It is time for you to join the fight for law and order, and at the same time get your eternal life secured. If you are a Christian, then you need to join the effort to rescue our beliefs from the encroaching hands of the federal government. If you need more instructions come on to North Creek and some one will show you the way to be heard. “See ya there.”
