Lady Bison Quest Continues

The Lady Bison continued on their quest for a playoff berth last week with two key wins in district play. Buffalo out distanced Groveton in a five set match on Tuesday before cruising to a three set match win over Onalaska on Friday. The lady Bison will travel to Centerville on Tuesday and then wrap up the first half of district play when they host New Waverly on Friday.
Groveton earned bragging rights after the first set, winning 25-22. Buffalo evened things up with a second set win, 25-21. The Lady Bison scored a 25-17 victory in the third set, but the Lady Indians forced the tie breaking five set with a 25-16 win in set four. The final set was neck and neck, but Buffalo held on for the 15-12 victory.
The Lady Bison executed a season high one hundred attacks during the match, and landed a season high fortyfour kills. Karlee Ferguson provided tremendous serving pressure for the Lady Bison, earning 23 service points throughout the match.
