JoAnn Leutwyler

A private graveside service for JoAnn Leutwyer, age 61 of Buffalo was held 11:00 AM September 23, 2009 at Brushy Cemetery near Buffalo. JoAnn was born on February 9, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to Leonard and Josephine Hull.

Our sister and mother, JoAnn Leutwyler who loved her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ went to be with Him on September 18, 2009. She will be greatly missed. There were so many of the people of Buffalo she had grown to love and faithfully prayed for. She crocheted, and she loved to give and help people. Her neighbors said that she was a “good neighbor”. The poem “Homesick For Heaven” written by Margaret Horst was sent to her recently, and she rejoiced so much in it.. The first verse says, Beyond the distant sunset, Beyond the skies of blue, A city now is waiting, Prepared for me to view, etc. The rest of the poem tells how beautiful “Heaven” really is!

JoAnn Leutwyler was survived by her daughter, Melinda Leutwyler of Buffalo and her sister, Patty South of Houston and many other relatives & friends.

Walters Buffalo Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
