The Oakwood School Board met briefly last night. First on the agenda was naming the first 2009-2010 "Students of the Month". For the Elementary, that was sixth grader Victoria Hill. My younger son is a senior in high school and playing varsity football. He's a natural leader, a fantastic team player and an A-B student. Fans for both teams packed the stands when the Leon Cougars hosted the Buffalo Bison in an eagerlyanticipated game on Friday, September 25. They were rewarded with an exciting contest with both teams moving the ball well.
