Vintage photographs - The journalism staff is raising funds to attend conventions, workshops, and competitions this school year. One of the activities we decided to do was to offer vintage photographs. The photographer will be here next weekend (October 2-4). I have attached a flyer that includes the information in case you are interested. Please share the information with any family or friends who have children 12 or under. It is a good deal - sitting fee and 10x13 portrait for $10, with no obligation to purchase more. But they would make great Christmas presents!

For more information or to make an appointment, please contact a BHS journalism student or journalism advisor Melonie Menefee at Buffalo High School: 903- 322-4243 / menefeems@ buffaloisd.com. Appointment times are from 4:00 to 8:00 on Friday and 10:00 to 7:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks for your support!

The American Legion Post #335 will hold our monthly meeting on Saturday October 3rd at 6pm. Our meeting is held at the Centerville municipal building located across from the Post Office. We would like to invite our members and their wives (or husbands) to attend. We will have an assortment of sandwiches, snacks and deserts and there will be coffee, tea and soft drinks available. Our American Legion is open to all Veterans, you are welcome to attend our meeting. We ask that if anyone has any old cell phones that are no longer being used that they bring them to the meeting, we have a program that will exchange the old phones for phone calling cards that are given to solders serving overseas so they can phone home. We would also like to wish a speedy recover to one of our members Ernest Jones who is recovering from a recent surgery. We hope he gets well soon.
