Leon Lady Cougars defeat Waco Robinson and Lorena

Paul’s Photo The Lady Cougars continued their winning as they traveled to Waco on September 15th and defeated Waco Robinson in 5 games 20-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, and 15- 12. They traveled to Lorena on September 18th and won the match in 4 games 23-25, 25-22, 25-16, and 25-19.

The game at Waco started badly for the Cougars as they lost the first 2 games of the best of 5 series. The Cou- gars rallied and won the next 2 by 25-18 and 25-17 scores to force a fifth and deciding game. The Cougars then prevailed in the fifth game 15- 12.
