Ladies Golf

The First Annual Hilltop Lakes Member/Guest Golf Tournament was a success despite the rainy weather. Twenty-six teams started Saturday morning playing a twoperson scramble. The golfers and their guests enjoyed a delicious barbeque brisket and sausage dinner Saturday evening. Sunday morning's weather did not co-operate and the tournament was called because of the rain and the standings after the first day were the final standings.

The winners are: 1st place with a score of 68.12 are Don Weldon and Dennis Pruitt; 2nd place, score of 68.25 are Randy and Shirley Schiamara; 3rd place, score of 68.5 are Joe and Trey Oden; 4th place, score of 68.62 are Emitt Herod and Freddie Rodriguez; 5th place, score of 69.00 are Doug Sassman and Leonor Holland; and 6th place with a score of 69.62 are Terry Edwards and Wallace Holland.

Next years’ tournament will be bigger and better with better prize money. The MGA and WGA would like to thank the Hilltop Lakes Wildlife Management Club for their support and donation to help make the first annual tournament a success. Thank you very much.
