North Creek Baptist Church

Tom Nolen We have gotten a large group of students in the AWANA program for this year and have had to reassign the leaders to accommodate them. “praise the Lord” the last count was 43 children and 23 adults for leaders. This is just a little larger than last year. The pastor is on the prayer list as he has a spot of cancer that has to be removed. This will be done next week. We pray that they get it all. When we add our prayers to God’s leadership how can we fail. The business meeting last Sun evening introduced the concept that if you have a vision for this church, tell it to the pastor (at the meeting ) and it will be on the agenda for future plans. Many suggestions were recorded and will be on the plans for future construction. “Ain’t God Good”? we now must take care not to make anyone unhappy and foster good feelings and keep up our prayer life and they will be all done at some time in the future. I had good news last Wednesday when a new family was registering their three children and I asked her if she would pronounce her name for me. She did and since I had introduced myself to her before asking, she mentioned that although she was in no way related to the church, she nevertheless reads this column every week. My thanks to Mrs. A. We feel very impressed and with that we will be more punctual in getting it off to the papers.
