61 fantastic vehicles enter car show Buffalo was rocked Saturday! No, it wasn't anything to worry about, it was just the 61 entries that showed up for the Stampede Car Show. When those engines fired up and those fantastic cars, trucks, and motorcycles came roaring onto the ball field, it was a sight to see (and hear). The ball field was a kaleidoscope with all the different bright colors, the weather was perfect, and there was a lot of good fellowship going on between complete strangers! A big hit at the show came from Jay and Renee Huffman from Donie, Texas. Even though they didn’t go home with an award, their four vintage motorcycles got lots of attention from the spectators and entrants. Thanks Jay and Renee! The organizers of the car show would like to send a great big thank you to the judges, who did such a great, thorough job, so hat’s off to Billy Foster, Mike Glick, and especially Chris Glick who stepped in on a moment’s notice when another judge had to cancel. Also, a special thanks to Chris’s partner Sam, who was instrumental in helping tally votes. Judging from these fine young people, the future of Buffalo is in good hands. Again, thanks to all you helped and all who entered the contest. |
