Stampede Beauty Pageant 2009

by Vanessa Goodwyn

A number of local beauties, ranging in age from tots to teens, got all spruced up Saturday September 12 to compete in the 2009 Buffalo Stampede Beauty Pageant. The youngest -- babies up to five years old -- were featured in the morning session held at the Buffalo High School Auditorium. The reigning “Miss Buffalo Stampede”, Courtney Eidson, served as emcee for the early session, and former Miss Texas Rebecca Robinson did the honors in the afternoon.

The girls (and one handsome young man) competed for trophies in the Most Talented, Most Photogenic and the royalty titles in their respective age division. There were also, of course, the coveted tiaras and sashes for the queen/king in each category.
