The Bison Booster Club, in conjunction with local churches, will be hosting a "Fifth Quarter" party for teens after every BHS home game this season. Celebration Church hosted the first "Fifth Quarter" on Friday night, and it was well attended and a lot of fun.
Entertainment included two dance troupes from the Houston area. A hiphop troupe composed of Joe Bosquez, Luke McAnulty and Kevin Lehman wowed the crowd with their high-energy performance, and "The Charis Project" (Felicia Sprau, Shel- bey Rasco and Jessica Greenhaw) offered a lyrical dance to "Falling Deeper in Love". The kids also watched "Hero", a video produced locally at last year's Arts In Ministry camp which encourages teens to have the courage to take a stand for what they know is right. Food and fellowship rounded out the evening.
There will be no Fifth Quarter following the Homecoming game on September 18. Buffalo's First Baptist Church will host the next Fifth Quarter following the Leon/Buffalo game which will be at Leon on September 25.
