Leon High hosts “Meet the Cougars”

On August 26 parents, grandparents, relatives and friends gathered at the Leon Gym to meet the coaches and players of the football and volleyball teams. LHS Principal Matt Garner presided. The band was introduced, then the JV and Varsity Cheerleaders led a few yells. Women’s Athletic Coordinator Jason Evans presented the volleyball, basketball, softball and track coaches, who in turn introduced the players. Principal Garner then introduced the Boy’s Athletic Director Keith Sitton who presented the boys’ football, basketball, baseball and track coaches who recognized the players on the JV and varsity squads.
