They lost both sets with a 19-25 score in the first set and 18-25 in the second set.

Although they took the loss, they also picked up some experience.

This year's Oakwood Lady Panther JV team consists solely of freshmen students. Head Coach Stephanie Lucio says they just need more practice; they are just learning the game. According to Lucio, they are doing well in other areas of the game like serving and covering the floor but need to work on their teamwork skills by learning how to call the ball. Lucio believes that if they can master this skill, they will get the win next time.

Players that stood out were Shametris Owens, who stepped up with a some good hits and twins Breann and Whitney Hicks who worked hard and did a good job covering the floor.
