Ralph Kelly Taylor

Ralph Kelly Taylor, 81, passed away quietly on August 24, 2009 in Arlington, Texas. Graveside services were held 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 29, 2009 in the Taylor Cemetery in the Flo Community in Leon County, Texas. Rev. Ray Grissett officiated the service.

Ralph was born April 3, 1928 in Flo, Texas to O.K. and Winnie (Pate) Taylor. He married Eunice Marie Stephens and after graduating from North Texas University in Denton, they lived in the Ft. Worth area most of their 51 years together. He retired from Bell Helicopter’s Accounting Department after devoting 31 years. After retiring from Bell Helicopter, Ralph spent most of his retirement on the Taylor ranch near Buffalo enjoying his passion of raising cattle and taking care of his hay pastures.

After the passing of his wife, Marie, Ralph met a beloved companion, Lahoma Patton, with whom he shared many years. Ralph was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and brother in-law E.C. (Pete) Gray.

Survivors include his sons, Gary Taylor of Ft. Worth and Bruce Taylor and his wife, Carrie, of Arlington; a daughter-in-law, Joanie Taylor of Arlington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendel and Sammie Taylor of Dayton and Mark “Bub” and Ruth Taylor of Littleton, Colorado; sister, Edith Gray of the Flo Community and grandchildren, Clay Taylor and his wife, Jackie, Kelli Taylor, Kira Taylor and Lauren Taylor all of Arlington.

Services were under the direction of Walters Buffalo Funeral Home.
