After attending BISD throughout her school years, the 2003 BHS alumna wrapped up her studies at Sam Houston by doing her student teaching here in Buffalo. A health major, Rodell minored in secondary education and biology and after earning her degree in December of 2008 she was immediately hired by
BISD and joined the teaching staff at BHS during the spring of
2009.
This semester Miss Rodell is teaching biology and IPC (Integrated Physics and Chemistry). “I like science,” she acknowledges. Asked if she is able to make her students at BHS like it, too, she smiled and quipped, “We’re working on it!”
In high school Megan Rodell played softball and was a Lieutenant with the Bison Belles. She has now succeeded Dana Morris as the director of the Bison Belles.
